Went down to my daughters for christmas, just got back this evening.
We had a great Christmas visit, some great food, but no snow. It sure seemed weird to be in Alaska looking at brown grass on Christmas.

We have snow here, and this may sound funny, but we depend on snow for of all things insulation, just too much stuff freezes when we dont get it. lol

It has been so warm in NH I just harvested more broccoli from the garden. Lots of very small heads but still there and tasty.
Snow is forecast for tomorrow - 4-8 inches. That ought to turn the corner for us.

Nary bit of snow here either, Not that I'm complaining though. We have only had 2-3 bouts of flurries this year.

Here in the Philly suburbs, I was out barefoot on Christmas. This has been a whole month of record warm days in PA.

Has been hitting the 70's the last few days again, some went to upper 60's, the ac has been on most days and sometimes a little heat just to remove the chill and it won't run the rest of the night. yes Tn has its good points but deer hunting here in tshirt just isn't right. A deer would come close to going bad by the time you get it cleaned, meat doesn't want to cool off so pack in the coolers and ice it down for a bit.

Same in northern Maine. I don't remember ever seeing that before. However, we did get 8" on Sunday, and another storm today.

Got up to 50° in Anchorage today. Weather is a lot different than when I moved here in 1974.

We have friends who retired to southwest Montana about 15 years ago. They report the winters over the past few years are much milder than the first few they experienced.

Rain here. and more rain. and more rain. In between it's been in the 70's. Took the bike out for a spin yesterday in a tshirt. Today rain again and a thunderstorm. I was on a ladder in the kitchen framing a window in and lightning hit so close the power went off and on and I got shocked. Tingled all over for several minutes. I still have hardly run the heat this year and haven't since before Christmas. If this is global warming then its saving me a ton of money!

My early blueberries are in full bloom in the back yard. No bees, and freeze coming. I guess a small to no crop in the spring.

40 degrees at 6 am this morning, sun was out bright today and it got up to 45 degrees in the woods.
Overflow on the logroad in a couple of spots. the road resembled a piece of glass with tranny fluid covering it, geesh there was a pucker moment or two coming out loaded, slipping and sliding, where there is no room for it. lol
