Can you use Lee Alox on a non tumble lube design bullet? I have an RCBS 250 gr. Keith mold for .44 mag but don't own a lubrisizer(can't afford one either)

Yes, did it on a few before I started casting the TL boolits, worked just fine.

You sure can, like this.

These were dipped while being held in a tweezers, then place on the cardboard. I move them once to allow complete drainage. Then a trip through a lee sizer die. Those are 100 grain 30 cal for my 7.62X25 tokorav.

It's a bit wasteful of the LLA but I hate the build-up in the seating die when truly tumble lubing them. And I like shiny noses!

You can scrape the dried Alox back into the bottle for re-use, it won't stick to wax paper if that's what you're setting the bullets on. You might want to add some mineral spirits too, you don't need to use it full strength and it'll look better and be less messy.

I'll add my +1 on using with non-tl boolits.

At this point, I'm using it on the Lee 148gr SWC and Lee 102gr .356 boolits, so maybe that's a +2..
