Veral is getting some long in the tooth. And, he can be a cranky old machinist/bulletsmith. With all of the noise in the shop, I've found it best to contact him by email. He does read those, and will respond, but as with most of us greybeards, too much noise over too many years, makes hearing, i.e. the phone, iffy at best.

I also recommend email. Called him once about 6 years ago. Talked for about 90 minutes but only about a minute on my subject. After that emails only.

He's still kicking out molds, I've ordered 3 from him over the last 2 months along with 40 sticks of his lube, lapping kit, push through slugs, bhn tester, etc. He called me to verify my mailing address and is a bit hard of hearing on the phone, but we got it all worked out just fine.
If you want to order something, just send in his order form with your check and you'll get it a few weeks later.

Some of the best of the best molds you will ever cast with. Happy New Year, & Happy Trails.

I got that book in the late 80's /early 90's . there is a lot of good info on how and why cast work the way thy do. I have two molds from him, .358 150-OWC, and a 170-LNLC for my .308

His molds and designs are as good as it gets, but are aluminum only.

His book is a classic. I've read through it a number of times. I've never casted an out of round bullet with one of his molds yet!. Some molds run better than others...I have a few where the pins are really tight and are difficult to operate. His bullet lube is worth getting as well. Glad to hear he is still kicking out the molds.
