If you guy's remember me belly aching about my pistol, well I got it figgered out.The most basic and simple solution....a smaller bullet! I resized from .452 down to .451. It made a world of difference, too simple, makes me feel like a moron. The pistol shoots so much better, and with the same degree of accuracy. My pistol is happy! Thanks to all who supplied thought and advice.

A pay-off to the admin staff in beer or casting metal usually resolves most transgressions. :)

Not a gratuity--call it "tribute".

How does it shoot better if the accuracy is the same?

I don't recall the bellyaching. What was wrong with it with the bigger boolits? Failure to return to battery?

jwp475--shooting is function, accuracy is marksmanship, the bullets still managed to hit black.
Ricochet---you sir,hit the nail on the head,I had to use my thumb to push the slide forward each time I fired. There was a lot of interest in the enginering and mechanics of this pistol, but all it was,was a smaller bullet,so simple. Now my thumb does't have anything to do.

In another 20,000 rounds .452" boolits will probably fit just fine....

I have 6 buckets of WW,still have some of the .452's,they work in my war Colt.
