My sight screws come loose after just a few shots allowing the sight to move around. I understand this is a common problem for this model. The set screws are slotted type. Are there any ideas for something to put on the threads to stop this, but still allow me to adjust them? They wont take much torque without stripping out the slot, or breaking.

Depends on if you ever want to move the sights again or not. Various grades of Loctite can be had to hold screws in place forever or to allow a bit of adjustment while still preventing the screws from vibrating loose.

Other things have been used before Loctite was easily available, a drop of linseed oil or varnish will gum up the threads and not be too hard to break loose in the future. Some people put a drop of fingernail polish (varnish by another name) on top of the screw head to lock it in place.
