7.62x51. I shoot 150 gr FMJ 208 out of it. The 175 SMK do well, but I load them on the start end of the load chart.

It's a dolled up Gibbs No7 Jungle Carbine (so called). A cut down Ishapore 2A.

So many things are wrong with what Gibbs did to these rifles... I'm sorry I like the old Golden State Arms conversions much better... If you're going to make a Jungle Carbine at least make it look like one.

Id be happy with it,as long as it shoots ok. JC's are pretty popular with pig shooters here and sell at the higher end of the price range.
