444 marlin and unique

while i was getting to load up up some 44 mag brass, i thought it might be alright to load up some 444 marlin for kicks. i've already loaded up some 220gr(444 and 44) wc with trail boss. i was wondering if the triple 4 with 220gr wc can use unique at under 1500 fps? also what is the starting load of unique in the 444( 220gr wc, actually 230gr)?

It probably should shoot it well but that varies from barrel to barrel I think. My 444 shoots a 265 gr SWC-PB very well and at an MV of 1250 using 5744. That load is really fun to shoot. Good luck on your experiment.
