Maybe some of it can be purchased here:

I have no idea on pricing, but as they are selling it for ship or anchor ballast ..... it's worth a shot .......... (no pun intended ....... well maybe a little bit?)

Shipping from Seattle (I think that's where they're at) would kill the deal.

I called them today. Very polite.

Lead shot is $1.98 per pound, plus shipping.

There coming in to reclaim our fields and back stops. Not even an option to get any shot out of this. They're just giving money to the club and selling the lead to a scrapyard.

Jerry,

With the extreme(?) markup of lead here in Redding, KA. (.15 buy, .90 sell) I would think you and or several (many) of you could make a deal to pay the reclaimer more than they would get from the scrapyard. Might take a large group effort, or maybe a sponsor but the possibilities seem well worth investigating!

A buck ninety eight!!!

That's a revolting development!

I bought my tin from these folks several years ago and they were competitive with it.

I just hope I can put off ordering any alloying metals until this current wave of "craziness" passes!!!!!

It just costs TOO MUCH to have a little fun anymore!!!

Vilageidjit,

This is mainly a shotgun club and not a rifle. I was miming out the pistol range the other day and 4 guy's called the Pres. to tell on me. The Pres was the one that told me to do it. There are only a few casters and the rest of them must have alot more lead then me. I have only seen 1 other mining. So there is no intrest in the lead only the money for new traps.
