I started playing Christmas songs back in late September! I play synth/MIDI keyboard/piano.

And I know probably darned near every Christmas song ever written by heart....no music required!

Now that the Advent season is upon us, we are starting to use Christmas songs in the praise band I play in at church.

Love it.

Just found two more verses for one of my favorites "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" that make the common 4th verse make more sense. Longfellow wrote the poem after the death of his wife in a house fire and the severe wounding of his son in the Civil War. It is on Wikipedia.

Growing up as a lad,I was thought the Latin version of "Oh Come All Ye Faithful". To this day I can not help myself from breaking into the hymn singing it in Latin!
