Does the mr bulletfeeder expander expand enough for .357 bullets without swaging down?
If not, where did you get your custom dillon funnel?

I want to buy a 650 but I need to solve this issue ....

This guy on ebay will make you custom expanders for the 650 you just tell him what diameter and how far down the case you want expanded. He does the Lyman "M" die style but it is powder through. I would recommend that you do not buy his primer pocket swaging tool for the 650. I had one and felt it put's the wrong kind of stresses on the press it wasn't designed for. And Dillon won't provide warranty coverage from damage done by this primer pocket swaging attachment.

The Mr Bullet Feeder expander will expand to .357 if I remember correctly.

As far as I know gscustom is not making any expanders as he did not respond to my last 12 emails.

the gs custom swager looks promising, I was planning to get it.
you "felt" that it put the wrong stresses on the press? Do you have any facts or reports from anyone that had issues with that?

Watching for powder funnel expander, I just ordered a 650 myself.

No. I quit using it before it damaged my press. It put a whole lot more pressure on your shell plate than priming does and when your swaging, you are only using that one station. It is out of balance. You can't use the swager part to seat primers either, so you have to change the press back to it's regular primer seating punch. And it really was not doing a good job at swaging the primer pockets either.

I sold it on ebay and bought the dillon primer pocket swager

I have the dillon swager, works fine, but you have to process the brass 1x1.

Still looking for a powder funnel answer.

I find that the MBF powder funnel works perfectly for 9mm and 357. Also, I have the GS swager. I don't use it either. I ended up getting the SWAGEIT from Uniquetek. I like it better. I would recommend it over the GS but I would be willing to sell my GS if you were dead set on getting that one.

Mr bulletfeeder support said that it was .358 so it would work. Im ordering their funnel.

I just got a mr bulletfeeder funnel.

First part is 353, and 2nd part (like 2mm) is 358. It's like an M die.
Works fine for 355 plated bullets, but I don't think that it will prevent swaging down 357-358 lead bullets (maybe it will work if you use hardball or #2, but it might not work with softer alloys).
Would still need a larger expander all the way in. Right now I use the lee expander for 38 super on a loadmaster and it works fine. I'll measure it, and I'll get a custom funnel machined for me for my cast bullet needs. Thanks.

I found that my problems with cast bullets being swaged down when seating in cases went away when I quit using the Lee factory crimp dies.
