Had to break down an order a carrier today, started to let two in, way to frequently. Picked the rifle up second hand off a CAS shooter a few years back, has been well used but very well taken care of.
Really fun little rifle though. It don't like the 148gr DEWC but if you are gentle they feed pretty good. 158 RFN work really well.
Anyone tryed that RCBS 38-162 SWC?
Thanks
Mike

Well carrier came in today, put it in and it is still letting two in???
I did notice some notching where the carrier hits the trigger plate on the bottom, could that be the problem??
Thanks

The 162 RCBS SWC works real good. But when you seat them the case mouth must be hard up against the front of the crimping groove. Other than that it cycles fine and will knock down Cowboy Rams @200m. I don't own a 357 but I hang onto this mold because it's a good one.

Here's my tweak to the maurauder fix:

By using a thinner piece of bearing metal (utility blade vs hacksaw blade) I was able to fix the problem without removing any metal from the carrier itself.

Since the bearing surface is not under torque, but compression, the JB Weld should hold just fine.
