Well, I've been cleaning the shop out and I found a five gallon bucket of ingots that I do not remember having! They are a mix of corncob mold, muffin tin and Lyman mold ingots. Its been years since I used anything other than Lyman style molds. The hardness test like wheelweights. I was happy! I just don't remember casting these.

I'm guessing thats over 125# of alloy. I still have several buckets of wheelweights to smelt and I'm debating whether to blend these in with the next 2 or 3 batches. I have found that they stack and store better if they are all the same.

I found a box of 6000 38spl brass that had been here sense 2001 or 2002 ! Forgot I had them. The disease is called CRS.

I say I have Sometimers sometimes I remember sometimes I don't lol.Another reason to mark your ingots.Sounds like a plan to mix them in with some ww should make some great alloy.
