Can a Winchester 1894 barrel in 38-55 (Non Takedown) be fitted to a Winchester 1894 takedown?
Thanks!

You will probably receive better information by asking this question in the gunsmithing sub-forums. I have a couple of takedown Winchesters, and I know they work on the interrupted thread principle with the barrel mounted to the receiver extension (which also supports the tube magazine, fore-end, etc). But whether or not a non-TD barrel can be modified to work is beyond my experience or knowledge.

.
Short answer: Yes
Longer answer: Be prepared to either do the required machining (It's not just a screw-in job), or pay a real gunsmith (not a parts-changer) to do the work.
