My mold is an Accurate http://www.accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=32-205B-D.png
with a .18" meplat, and I wish it was smaller. When I end up using the supplied flat top punch sometimes the meplat ends up widening, and in some cases lightly catches on the chamber and shaves off a bit of lead. Not a big deal, and still VERY accurate but it bothers me looking in the chamber and seeing little lead flakes.

I think a good bandaid would be using a spitzer style boolit top punch that fits in a .325 sizer, and maybe help round those edges or swage them pointier.
All help appreciated if you guys could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Use a hollow top punch then fill the hollow with JB weld and push your oil coated bullet in and you will have a custom top punch for your bullet. Make sense, I'm only on my first sip of coffee

J-B Weld Epoxy Putty is a little easier to work with than their regular epoxy glue, it doesn't run.
Knead a small ball and use it to custom fit the boolit perfectly.

Any RN top punch that will enter the sizing die should round the edges. Adjust your bullet stop to keep the rounding even. I do this to make RNFP s out of RN s
