Funny I was doing something similar except with the grinder stand from Harbor Freight. I was adding a plywood top and ending up with something similar.

I like the B&W workmate as a base and you can store in even more compact form.

I had that exact bench and did the same thing. Did not like it one bit. Not stable enough. Made a new top and shelf from 3/4 plywood then mounted a drill press. It works well for that.

Pat,

I would love to see a ROCKDock portable reloading stand. Something for the RV, range or wherever! Something that is beautiful as well as functional. A ROCKStand!

Think about it. Solid, portable, and machined!

take care

Ok-

Design and build one and wholesale it to me...! I'll even help you design it.

MFG metal fab like that is tough. Oh man- used to do it. Easier for us to figure out how to adapt a $30 HF... lol

I actually do have a pretty darn simple design that would be worthy of the ROCK name.

I recently bought the same stand for the same reason. I have yet to put it together, but had planned on making a new top and putting more substantial shelves to add some weight.

I plan to use it for my two presses, will post up how it works out.
