Old rock chucker attacment

I have a older Rock Chucker and a older RS (reloader special) anyway, does anyone know what the slot right behind where the die threads in is for? it also has two set screws in it.

jake, My RockChucker that I bought new in1975 has the same thing. Not real sure but I believe it is for a primer feeder.

5Shot nailed it with the picture of the chucker. Mine has one and it works good with primer tubes. My first new press was a Junior in 1974 with that on it and it now lives on my rock chucker, it never gives any problems, just serves up primers when you pull the primer arm back.

You only need to adjust the primer drop to where the primer arm comes into contact with the hold back spring assembly. After that is done just keep feeding it tubes filled with new primers.Robert
