38 special brass

[GOPHER SLAYER]

I got this brass at the range last Thursday. There are a few other pistol cases in the mix but there are 189 once fired 38 special cases and the brand name on them is Perfecto and while it looks like very good brass, I have never heard of it. Have you?

Googled the brass name.....it's "Perfecta", a line of Fiocchi ammunition. No experience with the given brass, but Fiocchi brass has been very good for me in the past.

I have loaded 9mm and .45acp brass from Perfecta without issue.

I came across a few of those in the last batch of 38 cases I purchased. They seemed to load the same as most any other brand and shot just fine.

Walmart carries that brand around here .... many folks shooting it ...

I find it every once in a while in range brass that I've purchased. I've never noticed a problem with it either in seating primers or in shooting. It seems to be decent brass and last as many reloading as any other.

In the wayback when era if you ordered 10,000 cartridges you could have whatever you wanted on the headstamp including your own name. Many different things have shown up over the years. Good to hear that about Perfecta.
