Got a bit of a mystery on the bench.
It's a TC LER 2.5x7. The mounting system does not use rings but rather a rail that is integral to the bottom of the body of the scope. Anyone familiar with the system? And where to get mounting hardware?

I've had a couple of those, and they worked out fine for me. The mount is still available, and probably the shortest route to finding one is to call TC or Brownell's. I liked the three I've had, and think you'll like yours too.

Already looked at Brownells and TC.
Recognized nada for the scopes with the integral rail.

Came up blank doing searches by equipment item number.

Even today in this world of universal information, data falls through the cracks of reality and becomes nonexistent.

Picked it up years ago after a shop in Cut And Shoot, Texas went out of business. Also got a mount that fits the scope but that fits no firearm that I am familiar with. The bottom of the mount could be machined flat to lay atop an octagonal barrel or a flat top frame or receiver. but I'd certainly prefer not to alter the original equipment if possible. Any how, it sure is a mystery. I suppose TC must have bowed to market pressure and ceased trying to push a proprietary mounting system into the market.
If anyone has more info please pass it on.

Uh duh.
I just totally stumbled into having the right equipment for a Green Mountain drop-in barrel.
There are four holes in the bottom of the mount. Two of them happen to provide the perfect spacing and size match for the rear sight screw holes provided for the GM rear sight.
This LER lighted reticle 2.5x7 is going on the .52 Renegade.

So you say the base was already there?

No, just digging through parts boxes, unpacking after relocation last March. The base I found won't hook up to a pistol or revolver. But rather it will make the transition between the rail on the scope and the top of a GM barrel matching up to the two screw holes for the attachment of the rear site. A pleasant happenstance I will certainly enjoy!

Uh, except after putting it all together, the eye relief is just a smidgen too long. Could shoot it that way but it wouldn't be comfortable on the bench.

So, back to the drawing board!

At one time B-Square had an adapter to attach these to a Weaver base.

Cheer, try adjusting the ocular rearward. That will often decrease the eye relief.
