I recently acquired full size 98 with no markings on the top of the receiver. Below is a picture of the left side of the receiver. Anyone recognize these? I'd like to know the origin of the action. Thanks!

My guess would be Spanish. But that doesn't necessairly mean it was manufactured in Spain.

Aside from no markings there may be features of your rifle that would help
identify it so please show detailed photos of the entire rifle from the muzzle
to the buttplate.

My money's on it being a Spanish ( LaCoruna ) M-43 Mauser 98, caliber 7.92 (8x57mm ).

I'm with pietro. I've got one (Spanish La Coruna M-43) and it has that exact marking.
