Sounds like a good time and lots of good eats for a while. I need to get off my butt and make a hog hunt somewhere happen. Been wanting to for a long time.

I hope to be getting after one of those in the next couple months.

Richhodg66 what part of Kansas are you in?, We live adjacent to the National Forest,it's just 15 feet off my front deck and 50 yards across the drive the other way,but this is the second time I've seen hogs in my Garden I did pass on a whitetail doe this morning in the same place, just didn't want to shoot guess I'm really not that mad at them this year.???????or,
Maybe I'm getting a bit lazy some days!!!!!!!

Been wanting to for a long time.

It's on my bucket list as well. Not many wild ones in our part of Pennsylvania. Guess I'm going to have to head south. But I get conflicting recommendations as to how far?

With apologies to Nike, UnderArmour or whoever, just do it! I prefer a good wild hog meat over almost any meat and any habitat where feral hogs are present need to be hunted aggressively. It's fun, they're tasty, and it's good for the environment!

I hunt in North Georgia. Hogs are a pest. Like coyotes only worse. I have read that if you have 100 hogs and hunt really hard, and by some miracle of luck and skill mange to kill 75 of them over the course of the year. At the end of that year you will be down to 100 hogs.
