Golden State Mauser

I just picked up a 30-06 rifle which was originally refurbished by Golden State Arms. Traditional Mauser 98 action...excellent condition with a very nice hand checkered (not pressed) stock. Pristine barrel and smooth action.
Got to the range today and its a shooter !!! Amazing what a 60's vintage rifle in good condition can do.

Other shoters, mostly "black rifle" stare in disbelief when my old 1891 Arg. Mauser shoots groups of less than 1 1/2" at 100 yards.
