Freaking NOE, just got an email, push through dies/bushings/rods. Got a bundle. Blew past the $1,000 club I believe. NOE makes so many useful things.

I became a member of that club many months ago. Just went through the new offerings. Makes me glad I don't coat my bullets. I could spend a bunch of money buying all the sizes I would need. If I didn't just place an order w/ Titan I would start buying them anyway.

Any idea what the difference between nose and body bushings are?

Thanks to the email I got from Al this morning I now have a full compliment of these, to size pistol bullets, on the way. Hard to pass up 25% off your entire order. Picked up the last two expanders I needed as well. I hate this time of year ;)

I just realized my last email from NOE was last month.

Just realized I forgot to add the parts to size 45 caliber bullets. Oh well, I can live w/ buying them at full price.

The main sales start tomorrow. The email I got was because I'm part of the $1k club. They sure know I'm a sucker

Not there yet at $1k, but getting close.

Anyone try the nose size setup yet?
I seriously need one in .300" for 30 caliber long bore ride bullets. Wouldn't hurt to qualify my 270 bullets either even though I've been preferring the 122gr loverine over the 150 SP. I noticed the dies on his site today and found this thread with search looking for some feel good justification.

What's the benefit/purpose of the nose size set up (base first/upside down)?

You don't jack-up the "nose"/meplat. The base is typically a more stable/larger surface.

I was referring to sizing the bore ride noses. Not nose first or base first sizing.
I went ahead and purchased the NOE dies. They are very nice.

Die kit allows you to size bullet bodies either nose down or up. Then with a supplied ejector rod. You can size bullet noses. NOE has instructions with photos on there site. For different calibers you only need buy proper size bushings and punches.

Is this the same as 'bumping'?

take care

No, Bumping is in reference to making the boolit larger.
