This pocket pistol has been a real pain to get to shoot using the 75gr Accurate mold. It has a short throat and I had to really seat the boolit deep to get it to chamber and extract and shoot to the sights. The magic load was 1.4gr Bullseye at .880 oal. Don't have a chrono but at least it shoots now!

Appreciate the info. My 1935 and 3032 Tomcat INOX Beretta pistols have longer throat which permits seating Accurate 31-087T 31-087T to 0.955" OAL for reliable feeding with compressed caseful 6.3 grains of Alliant #2400 for 825 fps in 2.4" barrel, and 939 fps in 3.9" barrel. Have not cracked frame yet!!!!!!

Colt 1903, CZ27, CZ50, Walther PP love this load, approximates .380 energy. Not for Kel-Tecs!

Wow Outpost, I'm amazed. I knew 2400 to be a versatile powder, but in the 32 ACP? I'm impressed, very.

You have to have done the work up as I know there just ain't no published data. :) Did it give you any trouble? How's the accuracy?

To head off any Doubting Thomas's: Hush up. It's obvious that the man knows far more than you about internal ballistics, so keep your little whiny screams of reloading terror to yourselves.

Keep up the good work man. :)

Outpost,

What have you heard about the 3032s with a blued frame and stainless slide? I understand that the stainless slide is heavier and the frame may be less prone to cracking.

Well I did some reading up on the Inox Tomcat and decided to get one. Someone had it at a good price, I had dies and a mold and brass....

Anyway I am glad I did! Accurate 77 gr. FP, 2.1 grain Bullseye, .945" OAL-I am amazed how well it shoots! She runs like a top as well. I hadn't had a lot of luck with this mold and surplus .32 autos but the Beretta sure likes it.

I had an early blued Tomcat with the light slide and cracked the frame in less than 200 rounds of RWS 73-grain FMJ ammo.

I returned the gun to Beretta and they scrapped and replaced it with the 3032 INOX I now have, which has gone over 2000 rounds with no issues.

Have no idea re putting stainless heavy slide on older frame. If factory did it, no worries.

Here is a target from my CZ27 which I use as a test platform. Have not shot this particular load for group in the Tomcat, but can tell you it runs the plate rack in 6-7 seconds, knocks them down and I didn't have to shoot any twice. Hits hard for .32 ACP!

It is factory. I got the box (marked INOX), all the paperwork and even the original receipt. It is a lot heavier than the originals and weighs about like my S&W 442.
