Question, I trashed my alox and 45/45/10 last year when I though that hi-tek or pc would work with my wheelweights in 9mm. It doesnt. (ww alloy only, too soft, leads with pc or hitek anyway)

I bought 2500+ thinking that I could easily pan lube, but I don't have a cookie cutter and it's a huge mess imo.
I melted all the lube over a screen.
I ended up with 200 bullets kind of "tumble lubed" with 2500+ that i dumped on a wax paper.

Can I shoot those like they were tumble lubed with lla?

Anyone succesfully pan lubes 2500+?

Never used 2500 but did use BAC and it worked well.

Why didn't Hi Tek or PC work? Done right I've never seen either fail.

Never used 2500 but I have heated boolits and Ben's Red, gave them a coat, then added gas checks, sized, and finished with a couple of light coats of Bens liquid Lube (60% alox, 40% Johnson's one step liquid wax)

That worked just fine. I had some cleanup of noses to do after loading. Doing gas checks was a bit messy, but it worked.

Try a few see what happens. But check your barrel.

If you are lubing pistol bullets, I cannot imagine that you could do better or easier than a double coat of Bens liquid lube.

I have dip lubed with BAC & Carnauba Red; if they are large enough grip the nose with fingers and submerge in melted lube to cover grooves, the longer you hold it in the lube less lube with solidify. Place on wax paper and size with push thru die, peel the lube donut off of the entrance of the die after every (5) of (10). If using gas checks I put these on first. I will do this for smaller lot sizes when I do not feel like changing over my Star sizer or if I do not have a Star die for the particular size I want. I have several dies made from 7/8-14 x 2-1/2" bolts that are slightly different size than my Star dies.

why not just do 45/45/10 ?
whats the point with bens ?
no heat?
That's a point, not that it was that hard to just heat the bullets and microwave the lube....

no ****, i'm a bit annoyed that I trashed 4 cans of LLA and 2 containers of 45/45/10.
I'll give a try to my 2500+ tumble lubed bullets.

I loaded 50 tumble lubed with 2500+
Feels like they had been coated with a more sticky 45/45/10

will report when i shoot those.

i could try to dip lube next maybe that would be less messy.
