I picked up a new toy recently, a Winchester 1885 Traditional Hunter. It is a HOOT! Low recoil, accurate and just plain fun to shoot. I am also amazed by the velocities I am getting from such a small case. My Accurate 275 gr PP with 55grs of Olde Eynsford 2F is going 1447fps and the Accurate 310 gr PP was going 1352fps. Now I need to work with wads, powder charge, primers and etc. as they weren't grouping that well, about 2" at 100 yds. However my duplex loads using my home made black powder with some smokeless are grouping about 1 1/4" consistently with both bullets and Nobade and I managed to consistently hit the 500 meter gong last time we were out playing after our cast bullet silhouette match using the 275 gr Accurate duplex load.

Yep, that is a neat rifle and I am jealous. I think I need one now. So much nicer to shoot than a 45-70 and super accurate. And we were giving that 600 yard torso plate a lot of grief as well!

Did you need a mold for a 250 gr. Boolit?
