Is $400 a good price for a blue Ruger Old Army as new? there is two at the Pawn shop they are asking $450 but I was wondering if I could get them for $400 if it would be a good price

I don't know if you could exactly call it a "good" price but, I doubt you'll find one any cheaper.

for what it's worth, there are several on gunbroker that people are actually bidding on. they're all hoverin' between 450 & 500 bucks. and the bidders will hafta pay shippin' on top of that.

Frank if you are wanting one of the Old Army Rugers that would be a decent price ... as Bubba said $450 - 500 seems to be the going rate today for one.

.

I would offer $350 each, for buying BOTH ($700); then (if successful), turn around & sell one for $400-$450, so you will end up owning one for only $250 or $300 (depending on how much you sell the other one).

i got one as new from the 70/s on trade and i figure it was worth 400 dollars in that trade. i then right away sold the precussion cylinder for 180 dollars as it was like new. i then took that 180 dollars and added the diff. to 240 dollars and bought a 45 long colt conversion cylinder. i love the way it shoots and looks. i later bought some really nice checked rose wood grips for it. i have been thinking of getting another one and doing the same with that one. no more are being made and they are very well made. my two sons are comeing home for thanksgiveing and i have loaded a bunch of 45 long colts and im sure they will burn through them. it will be fun.
