I bought it at a flea market yesterday. I have no idea of who when or where it was made. I casts a .380 round ball. Anyone have ideas about it. It looks like a very high quality item.

Very nice!
Is that rust in the middle of the sprue plate cutter handle, or a makers stamp?
Sorry I'm not all a historian or old molds or reloading equipment.

I have looked it over with a bright light and magnifying glass and can no marks of any kind.

I've never seen one like that, which isn't really saying a whole lot, but I like it.
It seems like it would be a good complement to a .36 Navy revolver. The Pietta's I have work well with a .375" ball, but both Uberti's have wanted a .380" to really fit the chambers right.

That is a very interesting example of good machining. Never seen anything like it before. Thanks for posting the pic.

I've never seen one like it but it sure looks like a well made mold. I agree with Robert . . . it would work nicely for a 36 Navy.

Maybe just me, but from the picture it looks like the two balls are slightly different size, the one toward the right being slightly larger.
