Not cast boolit, but a reload none the less, made by a 12 year old, to take a nice fat spike during Arkansas's youth hunt this past weekend.
150gr Hornady RN with 40 grains of Varget. I "Believe" it is running about 2100-2200 out of the 16" barrel on my Ruger scout rifle.

And a couple more from last years youth hunt in January.

These two were shot with Federal Fusion Lite 170gr Flat Nose. They quit producing them though so we started reloading.

Way to go! I got a couple four pointers around the house. One of them has my kid's name on it.

That's great! My boy got a doe during the youth hunt a couple weeks ago. He has the first day of buck off and I am dedicating that day to him.

Great job getting the kids outdoors and into this great sport.

Good eats right there. Has he shot the scout rifle with the peep sight on it?

Thanks for all the comments.
I am ashamed to say that he has not shot it with just the peep sights. He is actually left handed and I hope to buy him a LH scout next spring. Then maybe I can have my rifle back. haha.
The scout is the easiest LH bolt action in stainless to find.
