I have shoulder problems so i want to sell my 1885 browning BPCR. Browning sights, scope bases and a tapered one for long range testing. Some extras. Perfect condition.
I understand the rifle is worth $1500 or more.
it is a 45-70, 1 in 18" twist. Need to come here for it unless you have a place I can ship. If you can come here you get a nice drop tube, some molds and sticks.

Considering how long you have been a member, I am surprised to see this thread.
There is a forum section on this website where guns and gun-related items are traded and sold.
Why did you not choose to use it?

Greetings
These are nice rifles. Have one in 35-55 and no regrets having bought it and shot it.

If only they didn't put the cheekpiece on the wrong side of those....

missionary5155, the Browning BPCR were only made in 40-65 and 45-70 with 30" barrels that were half octagon, half round with a shotgun butt plate and pistol grip, and a 45-90 that had a 34" barrel and the same stock and barrel configurations.

Browning also made a Traditional Hunter that had a 28" octagon barrel in 30-30 and 38-55 that had a straight grip and a curved steel butt plate.

Mike, 35-55 ? as in 35-55 Maynard? That is a very good BPCR cartridge and Highly controversial in BPCR silhouette circles.
OR - it is a typo for 38-55 Ballard & Marlin

All the best, Michael Rix

Good morning
Howdy Doc... You probably are correct.. It may have the 28 inch barrel. But it still the nicest and most accurate 38-55 I have.

Good evening Yea mine is a straight octagon barrel. It has a globe front but not a spirit level type.
