I hope every parent here shows this to their youngsters on Wednesday in particular.

Not sure if it can become a sticky but with a little help from our many vets here perhaps we can keep it on top thru Veterans day.

I was listening when he did the pledge. Wouldn't hear it on cbs now would you? He was very conservative, as were a number of actors in his day. CR

Yes those brave young women.

Have any of you read or heard about the girls that ferried those bombers from the factories in the US across the Atlantic to England?

Yes their mortality rate was high but it never stopped those girls from delivering on time where ever needed.

BWB, when I was in school we had to do a speech for one of our test in speech class. So I decided tp do the Red skelton PLedge of Allegence. I ws always a joker in school so when I did that I had 4 girls crying and the instructor was wiping his eyes. I think that was the first "A" I ever made. It is such a heart and tear skit, I think he was the tops doing it cause he had the whole audiance in tears I beleive.
Thanks to all the Vets that protected us thru the years.

By all means, I vote this for sticky status. I have seen it many times, but would have forgotten without this reminder.
