Welded together from steel plate and tube. No name on it
Any ideas?

Well looking @ the machine from a collector point of view. it has all the ear marks of a copy of a Pacific standard. Or a Guy who did not want to spend the $15.00 to buy one and had somewhat of a Talent to make one.. it was made @ the time presses were in the up stroke.
looks extremely strong . Mount it and try it Out

Looks like a Hell-For-Stout. Somebody put a lot of time and thought into that.
Set it up and see how it works...might be keeper!

Yesterday I was looking on Ebay and saw a "vintage" press made by Echo....I had never seen one before, but it looks Exactly like this welded steel one, except of cast iron with Echo cast into the body. The one on ebay went for $39.00.

It is a pre-war Pacific C to which someone has welded additional material for strength or to repair a crack.
