I just picked up a win 1910 that has not been messed with, no rust, or cracks in the butt stock however the handguard has two running the length. I have also picked up 100 cases and have my eyes on a 3 piece die set, next will be some 200--250 cast bullets. What i need to know is, do i need spare internals like a firing pin, timing lever or anything else anyone can think of

I've played around with a 1907 Winchester a bit that my brother gave me. They are neat rifles and not hard to load for once you get past the undersized bullets. I would think the .401 would be better, and should be able to use readily available bullets designed for the .41 Magnum. Seems I read where you can even reload it with .41 Magnum dies.

My brother has a 401. I size 41 mag boolits to 0.407-0.4075". I do not believe that 0.410" Boolits would chamber using the modified 7.62x39 brass.
