Please explain what " high carbon alloy" is related to lead boolits. I know what that is related to steel.

Also, 375 grams... Pretty heavy projectile... Works out to be about 1050 ft-lbs.
Or, he might just not know the proper abbreviations for grams (g) vs grains (gr) and he's talking about arrows instead. :)

375 grains, 286 FPS. Big clue.
If that's a boolit, the range must have been point-blank.
Why is this here? To see who's paying attention?

Greetings and Congratulations on the nice bow buck ! The carbon had me wondering till I remembered carbon fibers.
That is my preference down in the bottoms where I hunt. Nuttun like a stick with a string and a sharp pointy shaft. Next year I will be back.

Nice buck, congrats! I caught the 375 grams and 286 fps right away and knew you had used a bow and arrow. Reminds me of a time when we were discussing a .308 vs a 30-06 and an old friend piped up saying he preferred a 2118 out of a tree. Took me a second or two and I realized the 2118 was a designation on an arrow.

375 grams? That's a seriously heavy arrow.
