Cast a couple dozen 165 grain RDs and shot them out of my Winny 94 and a couple 300 savages.
Very pleased with some guessed-at loads.
The rem. 722 300 savage didn't like the loads. But my Winny and mod. 99, both with peep sights, did very well.
The 1903 Mod. 94 .30 WCF put 4 rounds into 1 3/4" with a flier taking it to 3 1/2". That's with a 20" barrel and old eyeballs.
The 99 .300 Sav. put three RDs pushed by 32 grains of 3031 into 2 1/2". (That's all I had left after firing the Rem. 722 .300 Savage.)
