Well, I got my self ready to start shooting this gun. I took it to the range last weekend and shot a box of gp surplus through it. Got about 2" groups at 100 yards. Not bad for the first try. However, that was close to a buck a round. No thanks. Now I need to cast up some boolits and get serious. I have a 311041 and a 190 grain sillhouette that I have not cast anything from. Any suggestions for boolits and if you are inclined to give it, any load recommendations? Thanks.

Try both boolits to see how they fit. The RCBS 308-165-SIL is usually good with 11.3 gr. of Unique. Most all the available cases are good providing they're boxer primed. 284 Win cases are an easy neck up to Swiss cases also.

The 311041 shoots quite well in my K31 but won't feed from the magazine due to the FN configuration of the boolit. Have also had good results with the Lyman 311291 and the Lee 312-185-1R (sized to .310). All have performed well loaded over H4895 but I've gotten my best results using AA2015.

Lee 200 gr cast over 17 gr of SR 4759 does well out of both my 1889 and 1911.
