Received a e mail from a gun broker . Helped a friend move and I have lead in my pickup . First one here gets it . Ended up with 20 pounds that check out on the cabin tree at 70-75 and 84 pounds that came in at 80-85 . There were 5 molds that I really have no use for but were part of the deal . Decoy weight mold , divers weight mold , hilts round weight mold marked 24 or 42 , Herters 4A1 fishing weight mold , and a single cavity brass mold marked 210 on top and Eur manufacture made in Italy . Calipers read .430 .Marvin

Good haul - use the diver's mold to cast your zinc WW and sell at local dive shop.

Good score. Those duck decoy bar molds make good molds for pewter or for other "special" alloy ingredients. Stuff where smaller weights and distinct ingot shape for identification are desired. eBay would probably snatch those other molds off your hands and replace them with cash money.

BTW - what do those cabine tree # translate to in BHN?

70=10,75=12, 8o=14, and 85=15 I have several rifles that lose accuracy past 12 so I make the separation at that point .Marvin
