Got 500 380 brass. One looked new, the rest were cleaned but looked good mostly. Noticed 4 or 5 that had a slight wrinkle in the mouth. I believe they(the wrinkled ones) might work for two to three loadings if I am careful when sizing and seating. I think it might be a good idea to anneal them but I am sure that would require an automatic annealer to have any hope of not ruining many of them. Has anyone annealed 380 successfully?

That short of case its going to be hard to keep heat out of case head and do a decent job of it. Also with some of these calibers and the cost of brass is the time worth it? Some caliber you can buy cheap enough that annealing isnt really justified. CAse I have done alot of forming neck turning and such or BPCR cases that are expensive I anneal. Pistol cartridges or even some rifle cartridges I run till they start to fail and start over.

Throw them away. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I'll just be careful sizing and seating and toss them when they become un-usable. Figured that would be the case.
