Has anyone tried either 844 or 846 in a 308 with 195 - 210 gn cast ?
Gas or bolt gun ?
Did you use a filler ?

I have used both with good results in lighter bullets. If you find a recipe for H335, drop the recipe by 5% and use the 844. For Ball C recipes, drop by 5% and use 846.

Thanks,
My 1950's Lyman shows 36 gn as max with both the 311299 & 311284

I've had good results in an M1A using 25.5 grains of WC 846 under one grain of Dacron with a NOE 311299. ACWW's gas checked with White Label BAC lube.
