Took out my take down 1022 with the suppressor on it yesterday. Myself, my grandson and wife were out at camp. Grandson had a ball with it and so did we. With rws subsonic it isn't much louder then the action slapping and shoot one inch at 50 yards. probably more accurate then that as at 25 its one hole. The burris fast fire dot isn't to precise at 50. It was a great time as we shot up 5 boxes of ammo until the wife reminded me that brick of shells cost me near a 100 bucks from midway. Promptly put the gun back in the case:veryconfu

Sad isn't it ? You get something that much fun and you have to limit your enjoyment .

The first time I had my daughter shoot her rifle with a can on it, she pulls the trigger, turns around and asks," how come it didn't make any noise?".

Suppressors make shooting enjoyable, for my neighbors

I actually found some CCI Subsonic HP at LGS the other day. Haven't seen them for years. It's my favorite ammo for suppressed small game hunting.

I'm sitting here waiting on two stamps. Don't really have a host for the rimfire can yet but that's still probably 4 months away from being approved, my 30 caliber should be coming back any time now based on other guys in my area.

I love shooting supressed! Supressed machine guns are even more fun, I just wish all of the transferable machine guns weren't older than me.

Fwiw cci standard velocity will be 99% sub sonic and still cycle your 10/22 about half the cost at gouge prices or 1/3 your cost at normal price, also look at gem tech sub sonic it is about $50 a brick and is made for gem tech by cci

I had horrible accuracy with Gemtech in 2 10/22s and a MK II. Had much better accuracy with CCI standard velocity in all 3 hosts and 100% function.

Yeah its really too bad I cant go to walmart anymore anytime Of the week and buy 500 round packs of remington golden bullet for $25. OP .22 suppressed sounds like a lot of fun. I would definitely buy one if I could have one in this state. Eventually....

I just wish I could afford to get into that world! I have several .22 rifles I could use, but my old Remington 514 single shot in particular. The neighborhood squirrels think I'm a terror now.....

the norma tactitcal ammo midway has runs in everything I have and is subsonic even in a rifle. Now if I could find it at a reasonable price. 70 bucks a brick after shipping is a bit stiff for me.

Mica has it figured out. The average fps for the speed of sound is 1,100. Most standard velocity ammo will run, or are advertised to run, at 1080 fps. Perfect.
Cold days the speed of sound fps drops and on hot days the speed of sound fps will go up. There are charts available that will have temperatures and then corresponding speed of sound.

I honestly enjoy shooting suppressed as much or more than any other way. I really think that they should almost be a required accessory for most every firearm sold.
