Cabelas has them and I saw quite a few at Sportsman's World. I haven't checked anywhere else in a while.
I reread your thread and saw that you posted HM2. Actually what I saw was 17 HM's

There was a batch manufactured a couple of months ago and many places had them listed. When they hit the shelves/sites they were gone very quickly.

There are reports that Academy has had some available in the last week or so. They are also gone as soon as they appear. I don't know where Academy has been getting them. Either they're the only ones receiving any from a new batch, or their system is so slow that they've just finally got around to selling the ones the received with everyone else a few months ago.

So, unless you're willing to go the gunbroker route, check Academy or wait who knows how many more months for a new batch to be manufactured.

Local to Lewiston, huh?

Just got me wondering... As benefit, does CCI allow employees to have first dibs on production? Do they allow them to buy only so much?

employee's can buy 2nds, and first run in limited amounts each year. they are very particular about employee's not reselling, and all ammo is labeled as 2nds, and/or employee sale only.

This... and employees do not have first dibs on ammo production, cci/speer/federal make sure all their contractual/customer needs are met before offering any ammunition to employees on the rare occasion 22lr/22mag ammo is available as seconds to employees we pay retail for it and are limited to 1 brick. 17mk2 is almost always available but it is not worth the cost of my job for me to get involved in the selling of employee ammo, I am not affiliated with the person selling the ammo locally to me nor did I ask where he purchased it.

A little disclaimer: factory second run ammo usually has visual defects such as dents in cases or it does not meet accuracy standards or a lot of ammo that is known to have missfires but has been deemed safe to operate in modern firearms. any ammo that does not meet pressure or dimensional standards or is otherwise unsafe to shoot is demilled and scrapped by our reclamation department.
