Ok I bit the Boolit! I finally cast my first batch. They turned out Great I think. Using all Lee Tumble Lube molds for now. I cast up 500 ea, 230gr .45acp, 240gr. 44mag/spl, 180gr. .40s&w, and 124gr 9mm. I tumble lubed a few of each with ALOX. I also got the Harbor Freight Powder coat kit, and Painted up a few hundred of each. Now I need to Load them up and try-em out!
Added Pic of the 124gr. 9mm

Welcome to the fraternity, Petro. Good on ya' for takin' th' plunge. If you follow the path many of us have, after being surprised that it's almost easy, you come to realize that the variables involved can determine your consistency, and then you learn that your lube, size (dia.), alloy and other factors can be important, and you're off to brighter and brighter parameters for your boolits, and may convert to nothing BUT cast. And like most subjects we get involved in, the deeper you get into it, and the more you learn, the more interesting and effective and versatile it gets! That's never been a bad thing. The only "bad" news, if you can call it that, is that, is that none of us ever learns it all, though a few here come darned close. I've been casting nearly 50 years and still learn stuff here! But maybe you're a lot smarter than I am? As Rosanne Rosannadanna used to say, "It could happen!" Sounds to me like you're hooked already, but that's a GOOD thing!

Thanks guys, been reloading for years but New to Casting. I have a close friend that's a fellow Caster and has helped me learn a lot, besides all the Great Guys and Information here on Castboolit's! There's always more to Learn though. I've got several .30 (.308) cal rifles I'll be looking for a good 175 -180 grain .313 - .314 Mold for so I can size them down for different .308 caliber rifles. My son has a Arisaka 7.7 I need to slug the barrel on, that we really want to cast for.
