Does anyone still make shellholders with the 5/16" hole in the center? I have some and could drill the ones I have out with the lathe but would rather just find some.
My Bonanza coax and rcbs 2A both use these.
Thanks, Lab

I have a set of lymaans purchased a couple years ago. Just measured one hole is .2575 at top for around .060-.090 depth the tapers out to .300 at bottom. Hope this helps you out
That giant hole was due to the large .250 berdans which are pretty much extinct.
If the Co-Ax press uses them - just find old Bonanza shell holders on Ebay.
You will still find that large hole in some shell holders for the .303 British and many black power rounds.
I have one large one and it was made for the .303 by Herters.
I would find shell holders that are not heat treated and drill & ream as required.

I load a lot of the large berdans I have a lot of Primers. Many Of the older Machines need them like herters , texan, Easton, There primer post are thicker @ the top . and will not seat primers with the newer styles. .
Drilling Is fine if you have the equipment to do it

I can drill or ream on the lathe. As it turns out I bought about a dozen at an estate auction in Pa yesterday evening.
No problem anymore
