Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to find a better stock for a Marlin 1895 with a pistol grip? I'm thinking the comb could stand to be a bit higher and wider, and the butt taller, wider, and with a little less drop. Anybody used a kevlar WildWestGuns stock? How are they?

Don't know about a replacement stock, but I have a Handi with a lever style stock that put my cheek too low for scope use. Solved the problem with a stap-on cheek piece [it simply acts as a pad to raise the cheek off the stock]. Velcro tabs, works just fine. Check out MidwayUSA, I believe they have them in cordura and leather.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, LeadMelter. I' put one of the neoprene sleeve shell holders and it helped some. Now a Decelerator pad would be nice, too.
