Hi,
It's interesting, you can see the gas print after the bullet leaves the barrel and why a good muzzle job is nessary on a barrel!

That was pretty awesome. Now I'm really itching for a new 1911.

Hi,
Just for general knowledge CZ just came out with a 1911 GM that is forged and has all tool steel internals(no MIM) with hammer forged barrel.

Looks like a good base gun for a build and was going for about $650 on Gun Broker? Just sayin!

Amazing and a little scary with the cut out slide taking away some of the locking surface. There's a reason the 1911 is still being made, one of the best designs ever.

The CZ home page says the barrel is made of stainless, so it can be throated very easily for the best results using cast boolits. I'm really liking how the longer throats handle cast. Throated with .150" ~ .200" of freebore then a nice smooth 3° leade to the lands + 20° crown = a VERY accurate 1911 barrel.

Hi,
I just watched this again!

The genius of JMB is truly amazing!

Over a hundred years and nothing really better IMO!
