View Full Version : Lags in the mix?
I have come across some "lag expansion shields" that I might try in an alloy. These are the two piece ribbed anchors that are used to anchor lag bolts in concrete. They seem very hard, but may be zinc. Anyone know what they are made of?

I've been wondering that myself. I'm pretty sure it's not zinc as it's cast too well. DALE

And there injection molded, that's why they are so well filled out!!!!
Thanks, I thought they might be light for good lead.
