I am interested in getting a S&W model 327 R8 and would like to hear from anyone who has shot cast in either the R8 or TRR8 versions. I have read alot of things both good and bad about these guns and remain interested in one for steel challenge and ICORE. I rarely shoot magnum loads and would mainly shoot 150gr RN coated bullets (Harbor Frieght powder coat paint). I see lots of conflicting information about the rifling in these barrels and would really appreciate input from anyone who has actually owned one.
