Going to get my new 41 mag this weekend and have been casting GB bullets by the bucket load.
I will slug it when I get it but what diameter are other users getting?
I have a 0.410 lyman sizer. Should I be looking at getting the 0.413 ?
Incidentally, here in the UK this gun is costing me $1100 !!
There are probably only 3 or 4 in the country. Reloading and casting is the only way to feed them!

Mag, you want to size .413, otherwise it looks like a shotgun pattern instead of a rifle group.
Congrats on your new purchase, your gonna love it.
A word of advice, get the Wild West Guns trigger. You won't be sorry.
I don't know why but the triggers on the one I have and my sons were 7+ pounds, gritty and a lot of creep. Now they are down to 2.75-3.0 pounds and smooth as silk.

Thanks guys.
Just ordered the .413.
I reckon this may well out shoot my 44 marlin!
The trigger kit is also on the list.
Thanks,
Tony

Used one of them to make my first gun kill, whitetail doe at about 75 paces, high in the shoulder....BOOOM.......FLOP.....all done. Wish I knew my ol man was gonna sell that one, I would have liked to own it.

Mag44, MidwayUSA has the Wild West Guns trigger on sale for $77.99 USD.
Just a heads up if it will help you.

Thanks for the heads up on the triggers. I have a mate going to his holiday home in the US this week and he is going to get a load for us poor deprived Brit marlin shooters. There are a lot of us! Those triggers are $170 in the UK.
The 41 turned up and its loverly! Managed to get 30 rounds thru it at 20 yards and the sights were dead on out of the box! Let the load testing begin.................

Tony
