Has anyone got to handle one of these yet?
Looks like a nice little belly gun.
Thanks

Is this back in production?

Ok _ I just went to S&W's site. Looks very interesting. Wonder how you can
find one?

Bill;
Have you found one yet? I got to drool on a 38/357 night guard last night but they did not have the 44spc. They are one sweet little pistol!
I have the local gun joint trying to find one.

I have one. Shoots very well, seems to prefer and be sighted in for
hot 200 gr bullets. Good grips, good sights, very nice single action
trigger pull, smooth and nice but heavier than I'd like.

Good feel, nice weight. I like it. Now to find out if a Charter Bulldog
speedloader will fit.

Hey Thanks for the info, I am still in waiting, and searching.
Seams to be some unsean force field keeping them out of here. My gunshop told me they have had several on order since they were anounced, but none have come in.
In the mean time I will start my search for a 200gr mould. Only light 44 mould I have is that 429303, it performs great a magnum velocities.
Again Thanks
Mike

They seem a little high on their prices, some calibers listed around a $1,000.00 but that's nothing new for a S&W.

Aren't they made out of lite weight material...scandium?

Scandium/Aluminum alloy. If they were Sc only the price would be even higher.

Frame is what Smith calls 'scandium alloy' which is good stuff, but is
actually somewhere around 2% scandium in aluminum. So it is a really
good aluminum alloy, appparently stronger than the old standby
high strength aluminum alloys 7075 (zinc alloying material) and 2024
(copper alloying material). I read somewhere that the only source of
scandium is in Ukraine.

The new NG series uses stainless steel (black, tho) cylinders so is not as
ultralight as the titanium cylinder versions.

Nice gun. Here is a pic, not too good, need better light.

"S&W Bulldog" - they'd probably HATE that name.
