A co-worker's brother had asked me to cast and paper patch boolits for his .45 cal Pedersoli ML. After some experimentation, we settled on a Lyman 446110 mould that dropped a 358 grain pure lead casting with a .448" diameter. Dry patched with 2 wraps of 25% cotton rag 9 lb onion skin, then sized at .454".

I just received this pic of his mulie buck taken at 158 yards in Idaho. The slug passed through both shoulders and kept going.
