I recently acquired a Webley and Scott MK VI with a factory 4 inch barrel. My first thought was that somebody had stuck a Mk V barrel on a MK VI frame, but that does not seem to be the case, since the barrel is stamped with the last three numbers of the serial number and they match. In addition the top strap is clearly stamped "MARK VI."
Does anybody have any information about this relatively obscure variant?
Mine has been shaved for use with 45 ACP rounds, but will see a diet of light 45 AR loads in deference to its age.
